| I cannot believe my philosophy professor!!! |

I have taken most of my philosophy courses with Leo, who is an awesome teacher. He left on sabbatical, and now resigned. So I am stuck taking classes with Pearson. Today Pearson complained about Leo leaving, saying that it is because of he was born in Venezuela and has a pompous attitude. He even brought up Leo's divorce. My friend and I brought up that is was not his place to be speaking of Leo's divorce and background. He said that students told him that Leo talked bad about him and the other philosophy professor. We told him that we never heard Leo talk bad about him. He asked if we have been in all of his classes. We said most of them. He then said that Leo complained about the school constantly and said that Leo said that he was being forced to leave. We told him that in every class we have EVER taken with Leo (which is many) he never complained about the school and he told us the reason he was leaving is because he had a good opportunity and he was leaving. Pearson then told us the crap the Leo was talking about him was actually some students saying they wouldn't take philosophy classes with anyone else, and would wait for Leo. Which, to me, suggests that Leo didn't say anything bad about them (and he isn't that type of guy). And I didn't want to take classes with anyone else, because they are not as good of teachers. I am soooo pissed. this is ridiculous and the professor had NO right to talk about Leo that way to his class. I am definitely bringing this to the Dean |
